Jeanine Allin is a staple of the SCF community! She joined the gym back in 2014 and has attended hundreds of classes. At her day job, Jeanine works as a police officer, but she’s also a mother of three and grandmother of an adorable 3-year old! You’ll usually find her in the evening classes, and aerobic capacity is one of her favorites 🙂  We were so excited Jeanine signed up for our 4-Week Macro challenge. She was one of seven members who took part in the challenge in spring of 2022. All participants learned the basics of carbs, fats, and proteins. At Silk City Fit, we love to celebrate our members’ successes. Joe P. is one of our loyal 5:30am members. He’s also a dad, a husband, and a Supply Chain Director. Although he had a background playing football through high school and college, he took a break from fitness for a while and focused on other priorities, like family and work. Joe joined Silk City Fit last February. He realized that working out at home in the garage just wasn’t the same as being a part of a community of like-minded people who are there to push you every day. Welcome to “The Silk Road” where we learn about the fitness journeys of our members and coaches. First up is member-turned-coach Brittany Ernst. Brittany has been doing CrossFit for over three years and became a member of SCF in the summer of 2020. She obtained her CF-L1 certification and began coaching classes this past November. In her short time here, she has become an integral part of our coaching staff and you can find her in the early bird classes at Silk City Fit!
