1. Name Whitney Becker 2. How long have you been doing CrossFit (and at TBL)? What class(es) do you normally attend? First time ever doing CrossFit, I joined TBL in September 2017 and love every second. I do the CrossFit AM classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and Bootcamp on Tuesday and Thursday. I try to make weekends when I can. 3. What’s your why? Why did you start? Why do you stay? I started because I was ready for the next step. More challenging workouts, wanted to gain more strength, accomplish more athletic ability. Always admired CrossFit athletes, I wasn’t sure if I was ready and if I could do it. 1. Name John Duenas 2. How long have you been doing CrossFit (and at TBL)? What class(es) do you normally attend? I have been doing CrossFit for 4ish years. I’ve been with TBL for exactly a year. I don’t have a “normal” time. I go whenever I can. 3. What’s your why? Why did you start? Why do you stay? I lived most of my life thinking that I was a “big guy.” I woke up one morning and realized that I was a morbidly obese man, and decided I needed a change. I started CrossFit the following week. I stayed because it worked, I lost almost 200 lbs, and all my health issues went away. I stay now because I enjoy the challenge everyday! 4. What does a typical day look like for you? 1. Name Dan and Sheila Higgins 2. How long have you been doing CrossFit (and at TBL)? What class(es) do you normally attend? We have been doing CrossFit for 5 months and attend the 4:45 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. bootcamp classes. 3. What’s your why? Why did you start? Why do you stay? We are becoming empty nesters and wanted something we could do together. We have worked out (Dan off and on) for over 20 years but needed a change from the typical gym. We keep coming back because of the constant challenges and motivation to achieve levels we would not on our own. 4. What does a typical day look like for you? In and outside of the gym!
